Processing Plants

Shalina Resources Ltd is a vertically integrated producer of copper cathodes and cobalt carbonates.

The Company’s in-house processing facilities ensure that value is created within the DRC, in line with the Government’s long-term ambitions of wealth retention. The company is focused on strengthening its full production stream, and in 2013 intends to introduce cobalt cathodes to its production portfolio.

Since its founding, the Company has continually taken a modular approach to its operations, by enhancing its downstream operations in line with increases in output from the Etoile mine.

To fully integrate the processing operation, the Company has developed innovative processing technologies - some not previously considered economical in the DRC.
