Assistant Finance Manager
Profile
- Minimum Qualifications: BCOM / MCOM / CA – Inter / Chartered Accountant
- Minimum Experience: atleast 5 – 10 years preferably in mining or process manufacturing industry
- Job Specific Skills: Must have very good computer skills on excel and preferably on an ERP package
Description
- Based in Lubumbashi, DRC
- Direct reporting to GM Accounts
- Preparation of cash flow / Trial balance / Profit & loss account / Balance sheet
- Ensuring monthly closing of accounts on time and accurately / Working knowledge of Costing
- Account reconciliations – Creditors / Imprest / Loans and advances / Inter group company etc
- Bank reconciliations / Financial reports / Costing reports – monthly basis
- Day to day activities – cash payments / bank payments
- Day to day accounting – Journal vouchers / Purchase vouchers / Sales vouchers etc
- Dealing with the banks on a day to day basis
- Overall knowledge and hands on experience of Finalisation of – monthly / quarterly / six monthly / annual accounts
- Payment planning / Fund flow planning etc
- Will have to get involved in the local taxation laws of the DRC
