2010
Shalina Resources begins plant improvements and de-bottlenecking to increase recoveries by 5% and expand Electro-Winning cells at Usoke Avenue to take production to 100tpd copper cathodes (LME Grade A quality 9.99999%) ie 30,000tpa by end 2010 and 3500tpa Cobalt carbonate.
Work also continues to erect the Cobalt metal plant at capacity of 20tpd ie 6000tpa by the end of 2011.
- Upgradation of existing HMS Plant (HMS-1) to produce 300 TPD of concentrate.
- Erection and commissioning of second HMS Plant to produce 900 TPD of concentrate. Commissioning of 500 TPD Sulphuric Acid Plant to make sufficient acid available for treatment.
